Sometimes you make your dream come true. And sometimes, years later,
your dream finds its way back to you. I am a former figure skater.
I first stepped onto the ice at the age of two. My mother was a figure
skating coach and my father sharpened skates, so the ice rink was a
natural part of my childhood.
Then a serious injury changed everything overnight. My figure skating
world came to an abrupt end, and figure skating became off-limits for
the next 25 years.
